This Week in AWS, Sep 21-2013

All you Amsterdam lovers have one more reason to be there next week, Dr. Werner Vogels, Amazon Vice President & CTO, would be delivering a keynote at AWS Summit Benelux, Amsterdam. So better register fast as seats are limited.

A recent article on Washington Posts talks about takeaways from recent summit. In an another summit at London, AWS SVP Andy Jassy, talked about why private cloud are not suited for organizations.

More news for AWS architects/developers this week, now Amazon supports CNAME Wildcards CloudFront making it even easier to distribute static and dynamic content. And recently updates were released  for AWS mobile console adding support for ELB and RDS along with existing EC2, CloudWatch, and the Service Health Dashboard.
